My new tiered herb garden has been a major success, just like yours. I have to say I admire you for having the patience to grow herbs from seed, I tend to rush out to the garden centre and buy a pot or two when the fancy takes me. We have to keep our mint enclosed in an old concrete laundry tub to prevent it from becoming invasive, but it's a small price to pay to have such a useful herb. My most useful herb though would have to be rosemary - you can even use the stems as skewers for kebabs!<br />shoestring cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15646852337106617784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-77288809093776937822013-12-02T06:08:46.068-08:002013-12-02T06:08:46.068-08:00I bought some herb plants this year, I've neve...I bought some herb plants this year, I've never really bothered much with herbs in the past but I'd like to add to my small collection now.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-60190035186741519672013-12-01T18:09:14.560-08:002013-12-01T18:09:14.560-08:00Rosemary, thyme, mint and lavender are minor herb ...Rosemary, thyme, mint and lavender are minor herb in Indonesia. I have grown thyme from seed a couple of times, but I get frustrated because it grows so slowly. I usually end up buying a few little pots of it at the Garden Centre. We use such a lot of herbs in cooking that it is hard to produce enough! I have taken lots of cuttings of Lavender this Autumn, in the hope of having a good display of it next Summer. Some of them are obviously growing, so maybe I'll be lucky.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-4251615889932332132013-12-01T06:43:28.845-08:002013-12-01T06:43:28.845-08:00I noticed today that our rosemary is flowering!I noticed today that our rosemary is flowering!Sue Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164518448098182276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-70254017791209331992013-12-01T06:22:26.426-08:002013-12-01T06:22:26.426-08:00That's great Kelli, I've never had much lu...That's great Kelli, I've never had much luck with herb seeds, wish I knew why!
