And for that garden, I can say that the owner must’ve been very organized. The plant's arrangement is well thought out, and the colors are complement each other. Many will surely consider this idea for their own garden. I think it makes sense to grow some plants closer together than recommended, especially when space is at a premium. Some things require lots of space though, planting them closer together would mean smaller plants, or in some cases, the plants could fail altogether.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-11292914586333554452014-05-18T12:22:45.229-07:002014-05-18T12:22:45.229-07:00That does look attractive. That does look attractive.Sue Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164518448098182276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-53830230538999932162014-05-18T10:32:20.935-07:002014-05-18T10:32:20.935-07:00The Mondrian-type modernism lends itself well to g...The Mondrian-type modernism lends itself well to gardening, but I had to think of other modernists, such as Picasso....Wonder how a garden along his artistic designs would look? When I taught my literature class at the university, we discussed the modernist movement in literature, that the movement inspired change in everything from poetry to architecture. I never thought about growing vegetables. I love the look and for a small space square foot gardening serves a great purpose. We could probably grow more efficiently here by following some of the concepts. annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01668006270534204954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-15964011632560092112014-05-18T03:01:48.297-07:002014-05-18T03:01:48.297-07:00What a great idea - I only wish my veg looked as n...What a great idea - I only wish my veg looked as neat as this.elaine https://www.blogger.com/profile/17075935631756457901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-732676481099375924.post-84572641024788803192014-05-18T01:27:29.303-07:002014-05-18T01:27:29.303-07:00I like the idea of growing things closer together....I like the idea of growing things closer together. I can fit more in that way. Now if I ever grew plants in a design that looked that neat & tidy I would be too scared to pick as I would ruin the display. I'm not disciplined enough to have new plants ready to take over. Jo@awholeplotoflovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03525039817338877634noreply@blogger.com
