Blogger's Bloom Day (Snapdragon Snap Back)

The first Daffodil flower!
It's Bloggers' Bloom Day - the 15th of every month. Spring is in the air and the bulbs are coming up full force.

Here's what's blooming this month (many of which were blooming last month)...
Poached Egg / Limnanthes keeps flowering, although it is really yearning for summer (when it has a prolific show of flowers).
Crocus coming up in between some Poached Egg foilage.
Purple crocus coming up amongst the leaves.
Muscari is still in flower. I noticed some bulbs flowering in December and have had staggered flowering through Feb (and possibly beyond).
Heather - above and below.

Christmas Cactus
Yes, this is Snapdragon. I did a double-take when I noticed this looked to be flowering. Most of the Snapdragon never died down over the Winter. Some of the plants seem to be starting to flower. I think this is strange.
Looking to flower? Antirrhinum (Snapdragon) 'Intermediate Mixed', (Half Hardy Annual), planted outside May/June 2011, left over Winter, and making a come back!
Snowdrops - a favourite this time of year!
Daffodil coming up around the snowdrops.

  4. Love your heathers. The poached egg plant was one of the first plants I ever grew. Think it's about time I grew it again, especially after seeing your photo.

  6. My goodness you've got a lot blooming already! I love the color of the white heather, it's beautiful! I do not have any blooming snapdragons..but they did not die down either, so maybe I'll be lucky like you to get a few blooms?! Happy GBBD! Cheers, Jenni

  8. It's been so mild here, I have a lot of blooms that normally wouldn't be blooming now - although not a snapdragon! It's eager! Love that white heather, and the poached egg. And the sweet little crocuses. They are my favorite spring time bulb. Happy GBBD!

  9. I hope it stays mild and your beautiful flowers continue to flourish, especially the very early snapdragons! All those flowers are so pretty...I especially like to see the spring bulbs, as I don't see those in Florida, except in pots at the supermarket! Happy GBBD!

  11. That is a confused snapdragon but the poached egg flowers seem early to me too!

  12. Kelli, do you have your own little ray of sunshine over there? We don't have anything like the number of blooms even though it's been mild.

  14. Kelly, looks like spring has arrived in Northern Ireland. We are still weeks away from any blooms or color here. Love the snap dragons; though annuals, they reseed and come up here every year.

  15. My goodness, I had no idea Ireland had such a mild spring! Everything is blooming so early. But I must admit that our mild winter this year has my Siberian iris blooming a full month early. I'm thrilled!
