This is the journal of my endeavours to grow a range of fruit, veg and flowers from seed, grow organically, and my attempts to create a personal paradise with 1/2 acre of maintained gardens and 1/2 acre wild meadows. Northern Ireland's average daily high temperatures are 18 °C (64 °F) in July and 6 °C (43 °F) in January. Soil type: Clay
Your garden is beautiful and you have so many things blooming. I love those big pink Malope blooms. What a nice place for kitty to relax in, as well as you!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a lovely Irish garden. I think I should plant amaranthus. A neighbor has some growing. I love how yours drapes over the old stone wall.
ReplyDeleteThe malope may self seed and produce plants for next year. We have self sown antirrhinums which have arrived from somewhere as we have never actually grown any. Isn't nature wonderful
ReplyDeleteYour garden is gorgeous! I am amazed at how many blooms you have right now, very nice! My garden is very tired right now, suffering from heat and drought. Thanks for the tour.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful your garden looks. What a feast for the eyes. It's still very hot, very dry, and very brown here. Thanks so much for showing us your lovelies.
ReplyDeleteYou have plenty of colour and interest left in your garden. It looks like your cat is enjoying the sunshine, it's raining here.
ReplyDeleteMy morning glories have not bloomed yet either, what's going on? But I saw buds finally! I grew the taller snapdragons for the first time this year, and they really surprised me. Long bloom time in a wide variety of colors, definitely one to grow again.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous garden! The cat is really having fun in the garden!
