Too much to eat, not enough time

Our Christmas Eat Fest was especially delightful this year, I thought, as we had several good cooks in the kitchen at all times, preparing many tasty meals and great desserts! I am afraid that I am left with a bunch of great left over, after all the guests are gone, so I will have to put them all in the freezer for later and start dieting.....tomorrow!
Maybe it's a good thing that Christmas only comes once a year... When I was a kid my Mum used to make a Christmas cake so huge that it would last until February!
I ended up moving all the Christmas treats into the pantry or fridge just to get them out of sight and out of mind! But of course, I knew where they are were and kept munching on them anyway... Happy New Year!
I'm guessing that is always tomorrow as in not today.
ReplyDeleteI am purging the the kitchen today.
ReplyDeleteSuch a funny card, and yes we always eat too much these days.
